If your hair describes you a little, what should I do with mine?

I heard it somewhere and now I kinda want to change mine. I won't candycoat hereee. I'm guarded and never emotional. I guess you could call me cold. But I'm very personable around my friends; we laugh a lot and whatnot. Most of my friends are preps, but I've also been hanging out with a lot of goths lately too. I have a lot of guy friends as well. So I guess I'm a bit of a tomboy. But not sporty. By all means, not sporty. I'm tan, my face is too round for my liking, and I wear black Prada glasses. My hair is very thick and has loose waves. It's about down to my armpits and is currently a dark-medium brown (it was blondish but I put in a lot of lowlights). What do you suppose I should do with it? I don't really want anything too short, it accentuates that darned roundness of my face. Any tips? :)
